Transit of Venus is Coming

Twice in a century, eight years apart, Venus passes in front of the Sun in what is referred to as the transit of Venus. It happened in 2004 last and it will occur again on June 5th, one day after the Sag Lunar Eclipse and what will be seen is a little black dot on the Sun on that one day. The previous pair in the late 1800’s coincided with the genocide of the Northern Plains Indians but there were also major breakthroughs in communications technology, which we have also experienced with the advent of the Kindle and other book reading electronic tablets. This is putting many booksellers out of business and reducing our consumption of trees used for publishing those books, to put a good light on it. The transit of Venus last cycle was in Sagittarius, which relates to long distance travel and communication, both of which had made significant advances as life was improving for many people with newly invented electric lights and streetcars. More people were moving further and faster than ever before, which created demand for even more speed and two and a half decades after we began driving cars, we were in the air, flying planes. Fifty-six years after the Wright Brothers took off at Kitty Hawk, we landed men on the Moon, so maybe this next phase, in Gemini, will trigger communication with someone that can help us go further, faster than we’ve thought possible. Perhaps a bio-chip will be implanted in our brains to correct medical defects neurologically, sending the right impulses to the appropriate places needed attention. They can also open up higher mind functions like telepathy and maybe even telekinetic abilities. Translating foreign and ancient languages becomes a breeze with one of these chips enhancing your brain’s ability to process information of all types. We might even be able to communicate with extraterrestrial beings with advances of that type. We just need to sustain the planet better and cease draining all its resources for present consumption because we inherited this world from our parents and must bequeath it to our children. If we screw it up beyond repair, our children will never forgive us and leaves us to rot in an old age home in the worst part of the worst town in the worst state. You’ll end up living next to Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck!
