This is the US Saturn Return

America just had its Saturn Return this month, although it was first felt last fall in late November and early December, during the Lame Duck Session of Congress, when they signed a whole bunch of progressive legislation that the 112th congress has defunded. Saturn is the ruler of the Masonic Chart’s 3rd house but sits in the 12th, giving it plenty of secrets wherein they have compromised the spirit of America. They have become middlemen, transferring their goods made in foreign countries to places that will purchase them around the world, most often, the US of A, which used to be made here.
History gives us insight to how things break down; 29 years ago, Reagan changed America for the worse, busting unions and deregulating everything, allowing hostile takeovers and downsizing on an unprecedented scale beaten only by GW Bush. Back in January, Wisconsin felt the heat of a Republican onslaught of their rights reflecting an over-reach by their governor but exposed the Right Wing’s contempt for our rights and freedoms. Since then, we have seen oppressive forces deconstruct our nation’s core values, so we need to stand together against them, as Wisconsin has.
In the Saturn Return previous to 1982, way back in 1952, Truman dealt with the UFO activity that freaked people out of this world at the same time the Korean War lingered on and Joe McCarthy was going after imagined communists in the State Department. At the time of the election, Saturn was on Eisenhower’s Sun, so it was then his responsibility to take control of the country. Little did he realize that his VP Nixon had an agenda laid out for him by Prescott Bush, his benefactor and mentor in politics. They used the CIA’s covert actions to overthrow democratically elected leaders and install their own puppet dictators, as they did in Iran and Guatemala, among many others. Once again, America changed direction after its Saturn Return. Where will we go next? Will it be better this time?
Further back in history, you have the depression of 1893 that happened in a Saturn Return year, although twenty-nine years later, times were booming on the way to the big bust in 1929, six years after the return. The crash was not a natural consequence of the planets in the sky at the time as the long term effects were later defined by the Cardinal T-square; Saturn in Capricorn opposing Pluto in Cancer squared by Uranus in Aries. History repeats itself unless you learn the lessons from it but apparently, we don’t seem to get it.
This is why we need a more activated progressive wing of the Democratic Party or we just create our own Progressive Purple Party as an answer to the Tea Party. Those Right Wing-nuts are predominantly Christian, anti-science, anti-liberal, anti-gay, anti-Muslim, anti-tax and some of the biggest hypocrites around. We can create a movement that will move the country back to the left where it was for forty or more years until the Reagan Revulsion began to destroy our status in the world as the greatest manufacturing nation and the greatest creditor nation in the world.
Lefties need to gather en masse and show them what a peaceful demonstration is really all about, as seen on the Capitol Mall in October 2008 when Jon Stewart and Stephan Colbert did a great show in an effort to restore sanity. We can do it again. We can be a great nation again but we need to do it together, where everybody benefits and there are no winners and losers because we’re on the same side. For this, we must look ahead, simultaneously learning from history, applying its lessons and gaining perspective regarding the future, as planetary cycles remind us how history repeats or at least reflects past realities. Human behavior hasn’t changed all that much at the deepest level; we still have corruption, scandals and intrusions into private lives even knowing its legally and morally wrong. News Corp doesn’t care and neither do the US and British government as they get a taste of their own medicine from the media giant. Taking down such a megalithic beast would be like slaying the dragon in mythology and fairy tales, which would make our world a little bit nicer and better.
We have to create the future keeping everyone who contributes in mind while helping those who can no longer provide work or service to the collective experience. Earth is the only planet we can live on and need to take care of it more efficiently. It would benefit all concerned while providing safe haven for as many species as can survive until we either develop or get help developing technology to reach distant star systems that provide an environment fit for human habitation. If we can cooperate, the future will be ours.
